Through our affiliation with Colorado State University and the creation of the CSU Todos Santos Center, we support educational initiatives that drive positive social change.
Because of our commitment to educational opportunities, MIRA donated the land to establish the CSU Todos Santos Center and prioritized construction of the Center’s buildings so that students and the community would have a place to gather, learn and exchange knowledge. The CSU Todos Santos Center is an independent research center and we value that independence. CSU’s only commitment and obligation is to the Todos Santos and CSU communities, not to MIRA or any other commercial or governmental entity.
Our collaboration with CSU is a long-term commitment to the community and the region to create opportunities for learning and authentic partnership.
The CSU Todos Santos Center builds on the university’s mission of teaching, research, service and outreach, benefiting CSU students and research as well as Todos Santos residents.
CSU aspires to cultivate generations of global citizens and a thriving community by offering inclusive opportunities for learning through a variety of educational programs focused on youth engagement, languages, continuing education courses, and ongoing workshops on a variety of topics.
To date, approximately 2,000 residents of Baja California Sur have participated in CSU events, presentations and meetings.
